Smart EV conversion

This morning I saw a Smart EV car. It has nice pink lettering across the back saying Powered by - then a picture of a plug. The car was a year 2000 left hand drive. It had sign writing on the side of a hair dressers in southampton - cant remember the name now :oops:

Does anyone know anything about this car?

Well spotted Matt, sounds like a home brew, any idea of the name of hair dressers
