Well I went for a universal stretch CV Gaiter as listed below

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-STRETCH ... 240%3A1318

It fitted fine no trimming required, it also comes with the tool to slide it over the CV joint.

I added a bit more grease to mine to mine than came with the gaiter.

I will carry on investigating the lower arm swap, solid for pressed detachable ball joint option.

LOWER ARM

Postby Grumpy-b » Sat Mar 07, 2009 7:43 pm

There are differences between the two lower arms. In general they can be changed as a complete unit, but I would suggest you do them as a pair. The solid ones were fitted to early vans and strangely to the current / very last, so I guess they may be cheaper to manufacture. There is difference in the rubber rear joint that bolts to the chassis/ subframe. The shaft that they fit on the arm is of different diameters. Being different they will have different compliancein the rubber, hence I suggest changing as pairs.
I believe Berlingo arms are common to the 306 and Picasso, worth checking out.
