Vectrix

Postby Brandnew » Sat Sep 19, 2009 5:43 pm

Have just joined the BVS because a friend recommended it and I'm hoping someone will have some advice. I have a year old Vectrix (has done 2000 miles). I took it to the dealer a few weeks ago for a small repair to the stand. Whilst there, the software was updated too. Since that time, its range has got progressively worse. The last time I took it out it only managed 9 miles on a full charge. The dealer has been hopeless at arranging to take it for repair - he appears completely reliant on Vectrix telling him what to do. Now I understand that Vectrix in the US are bankrupt. Legally, I believe the dealer is responsible (my Vectrix is still under warranty) but I don't think he has any facilities himself. Are there any other Vectrix owners out there with similar tales?

Hey Brandnew,

I haven't seen many posts here on the Vectrix.

Visforvoltage has more vectrix users.

Might be useful.

There's also a UK users group.

All the best,
