Starting in the car park at Brighton Marina, 11am Saturday 3rd November.

A gentle ride along the seafront to just past the King Alfred Sports Centre in Hove, then turn around and back to the start point.

Lovely and flat, less than 10miles and no hills - unless you go up and down the ramps to stop at the cafe's etc :D .

I'll try and make this one as its not that far from me 8)

You want flat you want where I live then totally flat, not even a speed hump in sight ( well apart from the carparks )

Chris

Remind me whereabouts you live.....I'm always looking for somewhere interesting to suggest as the next venue.

For me personally, anywhere really flat is always an excellent selling point ! :P

If we hold a meeting near your place, you could always borrow a C5 for the day and join in the fun

I'm down on Hayling Island, a little place next to Portsmouth, the islands 5 miles by 5 miles and is virtually totally flat all over, nearest hill is the which is about another 5 miles inland so ideal for any form of EV.

Roads are fairly quiet and even the main drag up and down the island isnt exactly a race track so ideal for this sort of thing, we've got several pubs who are really good at accomodating this sort of thing. One of them already lets me hold an event there during the summer on their lovely balcony which overlooks the sea.

Let me know if you want to hold one down here and I'll make any arrangements required

Chris - Looks excellent ! I'm sure we will be making an appearance, but due to existing events already organised, it's most likely to happen in early 2008....dont know where the time goes :P

Oh yes of course I meant for 2008, clocks move this weekend anyway and this place starts to become windy and chilly and not really somewhere you want to come to, also its much better to do it when the tourists are about as they love it.
