Ascot proved to be another great meeting. I also managed to blag a minibus for the journey there !

Seriously, I am always amazed that so many of them seem to crop up at these meetings.

Not bad when youn consider they were all made in the same year - 1985

They seem to be wearing well, better than the owners in some cases... .

20 odd years later and there's probably more together in one place than there's been before. Quite amazing who'd have thought they'd still be going so strong. I know a lot of people knocked them but not at all bad eh!

errrr aren't Bournemouth and Brighton on the South Coast then ??? I hope Romsey is cos I've organised a stand there at the Hampshire Pageant Of Motoring for us and I've posted links in the South Coast Section of the main BVS website See here

OK what I meant to say was down near Portsmouth (no hills ) actually I dont think Bournemouth suffers too much from hills.

The "C5Alive" tour has its next stop in Chelmsford on 2nd September.


Could be worth getting your camera's ready if you live local, rumour has it fourteen c5's will be appearing - plus the local press.

Could be our biggest meeting yet !
