Anyone know the voltage and amp-hours of the smart electric battery? I am off to buy a set of running gear to convert a fossil smart to electric spec but the battery is rented and retained by the manufacturer. I have read that it has 17.6 KWh and 300v so just short of 60Ah. Any other info much appreciated.

Hi Rory,
I have had the pleasure of working on a factory electric smart before. My advice would be to stay away from the 'OEM' parts and just use typical conversion parts. I found the OEM stuff to be very restrictive and overcomplicated.
Tad off topic but I have a complete conversion kit available if you're interested? HPEVS AC35, Curtis 1238, fuses, cables, heater, pedals etc. Probably a perfect match for your smart.
I can also sort a set of Sinopoly LiFePO4 to match if interested.
Cheers,
Mike

Mike
Sent you a pm about your sale.
I chose the Smart running gear because no adaption required and aircon and regen braking available.
I believe there are three versions of Smart electric, which did you work on?
