Hi Chris Thanks for your reply. It seems that the 12v battery voltage is dropping below 12 volts towards the end of the main charge. So if you try & drive the van as soon as the main charge is finished or if you interrupt the main charge near its end & then drive the van you have problems. W...

12 volt battery charging

My 12 volt warning light is going on & off, mostly first thing in the morning, after an overnight charge. To start with I found a cracked battery clamp, which I changed & I thought the problem was cured. But now it's back & worse. This morning I decided not to drive the van because the m...

I've just looked in my berlingo's rad & it looks empty! This business of flushing out all the coolant sounds like a real pain. Does anyone know the capacity of the system, so one knows how much new antifreeze to put in, assuming a 50% mix? If you know the capacity then you don't need to get all ...

Thanks for the replies

Christopher: Sounds like a good idea. Let me know prices & we'll go from there.

Nikki: So what is the equivalent of the 1098 for an electric motor?

Many thanks

Morris Minor Traveller

I just happen to have a morris traveller sitting in the barn waiting for some attention & have been thinking about converting it.

It weighs about 800kg. Can anyone tell me how much motor power I will need to drive it at up to 50 mph?

Many thanks

Today I had a chance to do a 'lockout reset' on the heater as detailed in the Webasto troubleshooting tree, which I found on Robin's website. And yes, the heater is now working again! :D Can anyone tell me how to get access to the warning lamps along the bottom of the dashboard so I can check the bu...

Thanks Tes for your reply. I've now found the underbonnet fusebox, when the rain stops I'll investigate further.

Many thanks

Heater fuse location?

I've now had my Berlingo all of 5 days! This morning the heater stopped working. It was working for a little while this morning & then I felt cold! I wondered if perhaps it had run out of petrol, the warning light wasn't on, but then Maybe the bulb is blown? So I put in 5L of petrol. Looking at ...

I'm curious to know what sort of money he's after for the faulty Berlingos.

Best regards
